Doc Kieft - New Science Building

Doc Kieft was a major reason Monmouth College built the 40 million dollar Center for Science and Business, which was opened in 2013. Monmouth College's science building (H.T.) had limited resources, and these conditions were obstacles for those conducting research. For example, the science building at the time did not have air conditioning, which made it extremely difficult for chemistry professors and students to carry out experiments that are temperature dependent. The Center for Science and Business has up to date equipment and ideal conditions for both faculty and students.
