Tom Glenn received the Paul Harris Fellow Award in April of 2014. Tom is a very humble and selfless guy, he was surprised he was chosen to receive this honor. Tom had contributions made in his name from a wonderful group of anonymous donors. The donations were made for Tom's contributions to the community with youth development and serving others above himself. The donations were also made for all the work and time he puts in at the YMCA.
The Paul Harris Fellow award "acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International." The first award was given in 1946. Early recipients were given a medallion, but today recipients receive a certificate of recognition and a pin. More information about the award can be found here.
