Paris is located close to the Champagne region in France, which is best known for its sparkling white wine. There are five wine producing districts which cover 76,000 acres of vineyards. In addition to those producing Champagne, the region is known for many other types of grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
